Silent Place

扉の向こうに静かな異空間があることをイメージして制作しています。

彩色は全てサクラクレパスで行いました。テラコッタの多孔質な表層との相性が良く、伸びやかに定着するので、自由に色彩を楽しむことができました。

※クレパスは株式会社サクラクレパスが開発したクレヨンとパステルの長所を兼ね備えた画材で今年（2025年）で誕生100年になります。

I made the sculpture with an image that there exists a silent another world beyond the door.

I used SAKURA Cray-pas (pastel crayons) to color all the parts. As SAKURA Cray-pas goes well with the porous surface layer of terracotta and the color is fixed freely, I really enjoyed coloring freely.

Note: Cray-pas is a painting material developed by SAKURA COLOR PRODUCTS CORPORATION that combines the good points of crayons and pastels and this year, Cray-pas marks the 100th anniversary.
